Hello and welcome to the University of Sunderland’s IITT Mentoring Site. As you navigate through the space, you will find a range of documents, videos and other information which will help to guide and support you through this academic year as a University of Sunderland mentor. This site will be updated throughout the year, so please do remember to keep visiting the space and should you be unsure then contact your Programme’s Mentor Lead.
In each of the three programme spaces, you will find a recording of the Programme Leader welcome event, as well as important documents such as the Mentor Handbook and Trainee Passports for iQTS, PGCE Education and Early Years.
As well as this, there is also a range of more general Guidance available to you, which we hope you will find useful.
New approach
The University have highlighted the Mentoring rationale for the School of Education’s new approach to mentoring in a short video, explained by our Mentoring Lead, Haili Hughes.
